Policing, Schooling, and Public Health
Ben Ansell and I are writing a book about the political history of public services such as policing, schooling, and vaccinations, building on our previous work on the political origins of national education systems. During the period 2017–2022, I am also the principal investigator of a broader project, funded by the Swedish Research Council, on public services in comparative and historical perspective.
